in Atlanta. First, we made a pit stop in Pine Mountain and visited the
Wild Animal Safari. Here we drove my little beep-beep through their drive in
"safari" portion of the zoo. Afterwards we walked the zoo and got to see a lot
of really cool animals, some of them even had babies! I had a blast here and
really enjoyed the drive in safari since it was my first time doing something like that.
Now we're back in the car and on our way to Atlanta!
( it didn't set until about 9:00-9:30pm!) After the sun finally set, we sat as close
to the edge of the mountain as the fences would let us, which was about 15 feet
from the straight drop off and listened to the laser show going on below
us. When it came time for the fireworks, we were literally 30 feet from them and
they never went above us at 825 feet in the air. It was amazing and
unbelievable, Forth of July fireworks will never be the same after seeing some
from the top of a mountain.
